Bach Cantata #196, Der Herr denket an uns

Thought to have been published around 1708 as a wedding cantata, this musical gem was composed by Bach in five movements. I performed this piece (among others) with the Back Bay Chorale in our fall concert, "Beyond Bach".

I had the distinct pleasure of singing the soprano solo in another piece from the Beyond Bach concert, Johann Schelle's Gott, sende dein Licht.
