I have been meaning to read this book going on a year now, and finally picked up a copy at Lovestruck Books in Harvard Square.

My voice teacher hosts an annual voice recital for her studio; it's a combined performance of high schoolers and adults rooted in support and mutual growth. I was lucky enough to have my mom fly in from Wisconsin to support me. I sang two pieces; Si mes vers avaient des ailes by Reynaldo Hahn, and "I Could Have Danced All Night" from My Fair Lady.

Springtime is an excellent time for a Footwork and Frolick field trip to Vermont! We packed up and drove north to teach a group of exuberant high schoolers about 19th century dance. This was our second year of doing so, and we were much more mentally prepared for the outpouring of seemingly unending energy of teenagers!
